I would like to share, with you this picture of the Rizal Blvd., in Dumaguete by one of the best photographers in the country today, Mr. Hersley Ven Casero.
The photos were taken the night when coastal communities in more than 50 countries in the Asia Pacific Region were under threat of an impending tsunami as a result of that infamous 8.9 magnitude earthquake that hit Japan earlier that day. 
Torrents of mid-sized waves slapping the seawall and drenching the concrete pavement, a rare phenomenon in this relatively calm university town, added a dream-like veil to the otherwise brilliant Dumaguete night time atmosphere.
